Welcome to Livvy Portraits

​I’m a Hampshire-based portrait artist & tutor specializing in capturing the essence of children and adult portraits. With 30 years of professional experience in drawing and painting people, I trained at Heatherleys School of Portraiture & Figurative Art in London.

My fascination with the human form, especially the face, drives my work. Every face is completely unique, and I love exploring the story behind each expression. My goal is to infuse emotion and drama into my portraits while staying true to the likeness and character of my subjects.

Before becoming a full-time artist and tutor, I worked in design and illustration in London. After relocating to Hampshire 20 years ago, I dedicated myself to painting and teaching. I now run regular adult drawing and painting courses, offering participants the opportunity to learn new skills, gain confidence, and explore their creative potential. It’s a privilege to share my knowledge and passion for the arts, and I’m always excited to see my students grow in their artistic journey."
